Project Learn provides literacy and lifelong learning services that help adults achieve their goals as family members, workers, community members, and lifelong learners. Since 1981, we have provided free classes to more than 22,500 adults throughout Summit County. By increasing educational attainment, community members not only improve their lives and the lives of their families but also strengthen and improve our community and its economy.

Timothy Bailey ENGLISH SPEAKERS OF OTHER LANGUAGES (ESOL) COORDINATOR After a stint in retail management, Timothy decided to get back to his passion: learning and teaching. Timothy received his B.A. in English and developed a desire to learn more about other cultures. This led him to become certified in TEFL (teaching English as a foreign language) and moved to South Korea. While teaching there, he received his M.A. in TESOL (Teaching English to speakers of other languages) and decided to move to China. After five years abroad, Timothy returned to the United States with his fiancé. Timothy found Project Learn and resonated with the organization’s purpose, staff, teachers, and, most importantly, students. Timothy feels passionate about his career.
