History
Before the first conference in 2015, Ryusuke had a few get-together events with universities in the Midwest. Initially two people, one from University of Cincinnati and another from University of Toledo, wanted to organize a meet up at OSU with a few Purdue students. After the meet up, they decided to form a conference like all of the other student organizations. Thomas, Masa, and Ryusuke from Purdue University along with everyone else reached out to other organizations and they organized an annual Midwest conference so that everyone can stay in touch every year. Since its establishment in 2015, we strive to provide platforms for Japan-interest organizations to connect with each other and opportunities for students in the Midwest.
